TRUESABERS 1.0
(for use with FORCEMOD)

DO OR DO NOT:
The reason for this mod was that I had noticed that while some saber mods
claimed to be mod compatible - they were not 100% mod compatible.
Meaning that while the model itself would indeed show in the game, its
skin would not. To accomplish this, I had to rework almost all of the various
authors files down to the .MD3's to create new .GLMs for the hilts. I selected
hilts based upon historical accuracy (according to the Star Wars universe)
You are sure to see a difference in your hilts when using this mod.
THE MODS:
TRUESABERS is intended to be used with "FORCEMOD"
(The only mod so far to utilize jetpack restriction to "FETT ONLY MODELS")
It is not compatible with PROMOD since it doesn't utilize the TCK saber color mod
and has done away with the hilt select menu.
It will work with JediMod/Omnimod - however, since so many versions exist
it has not been tested with all versions of JediMod/Omnimod.
YOU MUST UNLEARN WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED:
TrueSabers was actually made quite some time ago, and never released.
It includes 43 saber hilts and is the only saber hilt collection that I know of
to be 100% mod compatible with model skins .For the hilt set to match, "in-game"
icons were removed due to the very few hilts that included them. This may
be addessed in later versions. However, the new "Menu-icons" more than
make up for this. Each icon now has the default color of the blade to its
matching hilt for historical accuracy for those who want to get it just right
- (Use TCK saber mod to adjust color)
CREDITS:
I would like to thank the original authors of the models - as this was made
quite some time ago, I won't list them as it would turn into a "research"
project.
I only take fuil credit for the following models:

YADDLE
As for the rest, I only take credit for making the original authors models 100%
mod-compatible
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
1) Extract TrueSabers.pk3 to your particular mod folder.
EXAMPLE: If you are running "ForceMod" extract pk3 to your LucasArts/
Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast/GameData/ForceMod folder.
2) IMPORTANT: Any hilts of the same type will cause conflicts. It is
recommended to delete or move any hilt.pk3's from your particular mod folder
before loading game. Any hilts not in a hiltpack (collection of multiple hilts)
that are not listed below should in theory still work if you want to keep them.
3) Start game and load your particular mod as usual
LIGHTSABER HISTORIES
1) Aalya Secura
Aalya was the apprentice of Quinlan Vos.
This lightsaber was presumed destroyed durring the onset of the Jedi Purge.
2)Adi-Gallia ep1
Adi was one of the original thirteen Jedi council members at the height of the
republic before the Clone Wars. To date, she was presumed killed during the
Jedi purge.
Where abouts of this saber unknown.
3)Adi-Gallia ep2
At some point Adi Gallia performed routine maintanence on her lightsaber.
While doing so, she also reconfigured the crystals so the blade would emit a
blue blade. Unfortunately, she was struck down in a battle. Obi-Wan Kenobi,
having lost his own, took her lightsaber to continue to defend himself.
Where abouts of this lightsaber are unknown at this point.
4)Anakin Skywalker
The origin on the construction of this lightsaber is somewhat shrouded in
mystery and legend. Often Padawans will go to the ice world of Ilum. There, in
a specific cave, the Jedi have harvested rare Adgerian crystals used in the
construction and operation of their lightsabers. This can take several days or
even weeks. A Padawan can collect crystals and construct them elsewhere but
for the full experience they construct them in the caves. Legend has it, Anakin
entered the depths of this cavern and was visited by a dark presence. Anakin does
not entirely remember constructing this, his first lightsaber but rather was in a
trance and given to him by this dark vision. The lightsaber was at Anakin's side for
many years until it was destroyed. Cut in half by the droid factory machinery on
Geonosis.
5)Anakin Solo
Anakin found this lightsaber in the Bast Castle on Vjun. It was discovered this
was Obi Wan Kenobi's lightsaber.
6)Barriss Offee
A Jedi Knight who looses her life in the Jedi Purge. It is assumed her lightsaber
was destroyed.
7)Boc
One of Jeric's cronies, an annoying Twelik but a Dark Force user nonetheless.
He combats using twin lightsabers either fastened together, parallel in the same
direction or separately making him very dangerous. However, he was struck
down by the newly realized Jedi, Kyle Kataran in combat. His lightsabers were
presumed destroyed
(Due to the limitations of the JK2 engine - only one blade will ignite.
Two versions have been included for preferences)
8)Bultar Swan
One of the Jedi battling at Geonosis. Where abouts of this lightsaber are unknown.
Presumed lost durring the Jedi Purge.
9)Coleman Trebor
Trebor, a Jedi Master at the height of the old repblic, was shot in cold blood by
Jango Fett during the onset of the Clone War at Geonosis. His clan lightsaber was
presumed lost.
10)Darth Maul
Destroyed by Obi-Wan Kenobi in the generator shafts of the Theed palace on Naboo.
To be more accurate, one half fell to its demise along with the severed halves of it's
owner down the molten shafts of the Theed generator. The other half was still
activated and carved it's way deep into the generator walls, making it impossible to
retrieve. Keeping the mystery of the Sith's return, a mystery.
11)Darth Nemisis
This is the oldest working single unit lightsaber known to exist. It was wielded by a
sadistic Dark Jedi of the Sith in it's golden age. Not only was it used as a lightseptor
but as a tool of torture. Nemisis took pleasure in making is enemies writhe in pain
before finishing them off. This formidable weapon could be hurled across a room and
impale its unfortunate victim. The second rear activation crystal would activate
on impact assuring the kill. Darth Nemisis' reign of terror came to an end when the
Jedi Knight Rodann swiftly ended his life. This artifact now resides in the Jedi Temple
as a reminder: the Sith may still be among us.
12)Darth Tyranus
Darth Tyranus is the Sith Lord name of Count Dooku, a tool of Darth Sidious. This
Jedi now turned Sith is one of the "Lost Twenty". Those who have renounced the
commission as a Jedi. This Sith Lord was eventually defeated and the lightsaber
destroyed.
13)Darth Vader ANH
This is Vader's Dark Padawan lightsaber. Obviously close in design to his original
saber as Anakin, destroyed in the droid factories on Geonisis, he used this lightsaber
and as usual, slightly modified it.
14)Eeth Koth
Eeth was one of the original thirteen Jedi council members at the height of the
republic before the Clone Wars. To date, he was presumed killed during the Jedi
purge. Where abouts unknown.
15)Exar Kun
In order to become a more fierce adversary, Exar Kun modified his original lightsaber
and created a formidable weapon. This double ended version reigned terror till Exar's
demise
16)Ki-Adi Mundi ep1
Ki was one of the original thirteen Jedi council members at the height of the
republic before the Clone Wars. To date, he was presumed killed during the Jedi
purge. Where abouts unknown.
17)Ki-Adi Mundi ep2
At some point Ki-Adi Mundi performed routine maintanance on his lightsaber.
While doing so, he also reconfigured the crystals so the blade would emit a blue blade.
Unfortunately, he was temporarily captured during the battle at Geonosis and his
lightsaber was presumed lost. Where abouts of this lightsaber are unknown at this
point.
18)Kit Fisto
This is one of the lightsabers shared with Mace Windu. Unfortunately Kit and this
lightsaber were destoyed during the Jedi Purge.
19)Kyle Kataran
In keeping with the traditions of the Jedi. Kyle build this lightsaber and is with him
today.
20)Leia Organa-Solo
Constructed by her brother Luke Skywalker for her training. Eventually it was
replaced by one she built herself and passed it on to other Padawan Jedi for their
training.
21) Luke Skywalker ANH
Originally owned by Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi passed it onto
Luke Skywalker.
22)Luke (ROTJ)
After loosing his father's lightsaber, along with his hand, Luke returned to his home
planet of Tatooine. There in Obi-Wan Kenobi's hut and using reference books he
constructed his own lightsaber as part of his Jedi training. It is still with the Jedi
master.
23)Luke Skywalker DE
Luke put aside his own lightsaber for a more bruting design in order to gain
confidence with the young cloned Emperor Palpatine. His purpose was to infiltrate
and destroy the clone, keeping the Empire from rising to power again. Luke put the
weapon away after defeating the Emperor.
24)Mace Windu ETM
Mace was one of the original thirteen Jedi council members at the height of the
republic durring the Clone Wars. This is Mace Windu's original lightsaber. Several
Jedi share similar lightsabers to signify their relationship either as a classmate or
battle brothren. In this case, other Jedi emulate this lightsaber out of their respect
for the Jedi Master. Mace decided to create a new lightsaber to replace this one.
How or where it was lost is not known.
25)Mace Windu ep1
This clan lightsaber was an exchange from Eeth Koth. After a time he returned it to
his fellow council member and retrieved his own.
26)Mace Windu ep2
This was lost or destroyed during the Jedi Purge.
27)Mara Jade
Mara being somewhat of a perfectionist had built a few lightsabers during her
training as a Jedi Knight. She built this when she was under the tutalige of Master
Kyle Katarn. It is still with the Jedi.
28) Mara Jade Skywalker
Even though Mara had acquired Luke's father's lightsaber she still wanted to
rededicate her destiny to be a true Jedi Knight. To that end she fulfilled one of those
requirements and constructed a new lightsaber. It is still with the Jedi.
29)Micah Giiett
Master Giiett utilized identical lightsabers for 'double fisted' combat. He was also
one of the thirteen Jedi council members. He was mortally wounded during the
battle of Yinchorr and gave his former padawan, Plo Koon one lightsaber and placed
it in the Jedi temple of honor. The other was destroyed along with himself. A
sacrafice taking along several Yinchorri with him. The remaining lightsaber was
believed to be missing during the Jedi purge, where abouts are unknown. Jedi,
Ki-Adi Mundi succeded Giiett's seat on the council.
30)Obi Wan Kenobi
This is Obi-Wan's second Padawan lightsaber. As beautiful and unique as it is, it
was thought to have been destroyed in Theed generator shaft during a duel with
Darth Maul on Naboo. After defeating Darth Maul, he used the force to retrieve his
lightsaber from the 600 foot shaft. 10 years later, Obi Wan was captured on
Geonosis and his lightsaber was ordered to be destroyed.
31)Obi Wan Kenobi ANH
Surrendered to the Force during a duel with Darth Vader aboard the Death Star.
Vader took possession. Presumed destroyed along with the Death Star at the
Battle of Yavin.
32)Pablo-Jill
This is Jill's clan lightsaber. Unfortunately, he was struck down during the Jedi Purge.
Where abouts of this lightsaber are unknown at this point.
33)Plo Koon ep1
Plo was one of the original thirteen Jedi council members at the height of the
republic. To date, he was presumed killed during the Jedi purge. Where abouts
unknown.
34)Plo Koon ep2
This is Plo Koon's clan lightsaber. Unfortunately, he was struck down during the
Jedi Purge. Where abouts of this lightsaber are unknown at this point.
35)Qui Gon Jinn
Killed in duel with Darth Maul now in the care of Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Presumed to be in storage at his home on Tatooine. Possibly recovered by
Luke Skywalker while constructing his third lightsaber.
36)Quinlan Vos
Quinlan slightly modified his lightsaber with a power reserve.
He spent extended time periods using his lightsaber without recharging it.
37)Saesse Tiin
This is Saesse Tiin's clan lightsaber. Unfortunatly, he was struck down during the
Jedi Purge. Where abouts of this lightsaber are unknown at this point.
38)Shaak-Ti
It is assumed her lightsaber was destroyed durring the Jedi Purge.
39)Training 3
One training lightsaber in particular was built to pay homage to a fallen Jedi,
Qui Gon Junn, so he would not be forgotten.
40)Yaddle
Yaddle was one of the original thirteen Jedi council members at the height of the
republic before the Clone Wars. To date, she was presumed killed during the Jedi
purge. Where abouts unknown.
41)Yarael Poof
Yarael was one of the original thirteen Jedi council members at the height of the
republic before the Clone Wars. He died after using the Force to contain the powers
of on ancient idol that would have devastated Coruscant had it not been stopped.
His lightsaber was presumed to have been destroyed.
42)Yoda ep2
At some point even the adged Jedi Master upgraded his lightsaber.
The all powerful Jedi Master used this lightsaber to defeat the evil Sith Lord,
Darth Tyranus. Stopped using & stored away. Presumed to be left behind in his hut
on Dagobah after surrendering himself to the Force.
43)Yun
Yun, a Dark Jedi and a hechman for Jeric was killed by Sarriss.
He was defending the right of battle for the newly realized Jedi, Kyle Kataran.
Kyle then defeated Sarris and acquired Yun's saber for his own.
