What it is:
..
This is a 'blood mod' for JK2/JK3, designed to work with JK3, and fully compatible with JK2...
It makes use of the 'bloody_dismemberment!' mod for JK3 as that was used as a base... and this all started more as a mere customization of that mod... but then I started doing some of my own .EFX work, .shader work, texture edits...

It's a bit more bloody quantitatively than most 'blood mods' for JK2/JK3 but it's actually relatively realistic qualitatively...
Blood just spews from saber cuts, and just a tad from weapon impacts, taking its time to drop on the ground with your usual blood splatter sounds, and sticking all over the ground and even the walls, though you'll see this in effect better in JO than in JA.

I'm not sure how the caps textures will look seeing as now they are slightly bulgy on top of having a more bloody look.
It looks different in JK2 than it does in JA... In JK2 the blood sticks to walls just fine, but in JK3 there is some hassle with that, and I'm REALLY not sure what is the problem there. My best guess is that JA doesn't handle 'impact decals' the same way JO does...
Also in JK3 there's more varability in the different 'blood effects' by damage...
but it probably won't be that noticable, how they are different .efx used at different damage levels, with the saber cuts that trigger the blood sparks effects...

Directions:
..
Place Z_JAbloodycaps.pk3 in your 'GameData/base/' directory within Jedi Outcast and/or Jedi Academy's game directories.
It should take effect next time you start up jk2mp.exe/jamp.exe.
Beacuse it is a mod, it will not work on 'pure servers', unless the 'pure server' also has it in use.
However it shouldn't have trouble working when combined with other mods provided that the other mods don't replace any of the same things that this mod replaces and/or adds.

Microsoft Windows Notepad utility for code, script files, notes...
PakScape for building .pk3 files
Those who put up with me showing this off in its earlier builds on Clan Apathy forums...
Just a very small does of 'popular support' from others in JO and JA...
