Description : A battle droid. What more do you need to know?
:) This is actually the version 0.97 release of my multiplayer battle
droid, but so much has changed that I decided to give it a new name. It\'s skinned by ALIEN_JL and now, finally, the sounds should work.
No LOD\'s yet, but the geometry has been (very) slightly tweaked
Changes to v0.96 : -added ALIEN_JL\'s amazing skins. Don\'t they look cool? ;) Thanks dude!
-messed with the botfiles; roger is now officially a wimp.
-added, resampled and converted the sounds. Big shout out to
Alex Wauters for some cool sounds.
-juggled the geometry around a bit.
Changes to v0.95 : -This model is essentially the same as v0.95, except it
now works :) Sorry for the inconvenience.
Changes to v0.9 : -converted tga\'s to jpg\'s. This ought to fix a lot of
problems for everyone who couldn\'t select the model.
-added a whole lot of sounds, courtesy of ALIEN_JL. Big up to you!
-reconfigured the botfile so it doesn\'t use the lightsaber
and most force powers (electrify had to stay :) ).
-added the model_default_red/blue.skin files I forgot to
add in the first release (notice that I did add the corresponding
tga\'s :) Oops!)
Comments : To install, unzip roger.pk3 to your Gamedata\\base\\ directory.
I still have to create LOD\'s, but don\'t hold your breath; seeing as I\'m not paid to do this stuff, I think I\'ll make a new model first ;)
Credits : The original model was made by me, while the cool new skins
were created by the talented ALIEN_JL.
Mad props go out to Alex Wauters and Leo Kraan for supplying
some of the sounds!
And of course the usual shout out to the jk2 modeling community,
without whose help this model would never have made it into the
game. And who helped make this model better once it had.
Request: You are allowed to use this model freely, but I do ask that
you let us know if you use it for a project. I\'d like to
know what this battle droid is doing :) Oh, and if you do use
it, always give us credit :)
