Story: Outside the city of Baron\'s Hed lies a tower that once was meant to serve as a base of operations for the Dark Jedi Jerec on his quest for the Valley of the Jedi. However, severe flaws in the structural design encouraged Jerec to relocate to a far larger tower within the city limits of Baron\'s Hed. Abandoned, alone, and forgotten, the tower remained untouched... that is, until your modified Corellian freighter crash-landed in the rugged hills near the city. You emerge from the wrecked ship unscathed, and suddenly you are aware that those who were firing upon your ship moments ago may still be pursuing you. Ahead stands a relic of stone and metal nestled in the hills. Far below you rests the city of Baron\'s Hed, where you may find more secure refuge. Pressed for time and low on options, you run to the nearby tower and hope that you have found safety--a hope that is shattered with the sound of a lightsaber ignited by a figure in the shadows...

Concept: A fairly large multi-level tower with rooms of different shapes and sizes for your dueling pleasure. In the center of the tower are layers of circular and square rooms that rest on top of each other. Running around all four sides of the aforementioned dueling rooms is series of ramps that reaches from the second-highest dueling room to the square chamber at the bottom. From the bottom chamber you can access the underground cavern around the base of the tower. As the tower has many structural weaknesses, you can break through roughly fifteen walls and floors, as well as a handful of glass windows that will inevitably shattered. If you are trapped in a room, chances are very good that an escape route is just a thermal detonator away! I have also included a number of unbreakable glass windows so that you can spy on other players and see areas that might have otherwise gone unnoticed.

Installation: Just extract all of the zipped files to your GameData/Base directory, then go into JKII Multiplayer and into \"Create Server,\" and on the list of maps, select \"Tower Ruins\".

Uninstallation: Delete \"towerruins.pk3\" from your GameData/Base folder. You may also wish to delete this readme to save space.


Info: \"Tower Ruins\" is my third JK2 map, and I\'m not planning on jumping ship just yet. I\'ve had a blast creating my maps and distributing them to the JK2 public. Thanks for all your downloads!

Programs Used: JK2 Radiant, Arena Master, PakScape, Microsoft Photo Editor, and of course, Paint.

Developer\'s Hint of the Day: Never try to make a Holocron FFA map unless you\'ve done it before or have an instruction manual! I had neither the experience or the documentation, and it was more time-consuming than I expected. Basically, I had to create a new entity called misc_holocron and I had to guess which force power it would turn out to be...

Known Bugs: Only a handful of negligible geometry problems which would require a complete reworking of the level to complete. This map works fine. Don\'t worry if you can see three centimeters behind a wall that you shouldn\'t be able to see behind.
