Description:
This is a recreation of end of episode 1, where Maul fights with Qui Gon and Obi Wan, with a little added Extras and new areas to add a bit more to the level.


Ive also added a lower hanger for dueling

There are NO N1 fighters in this version, but they will be in version 2 that will be released for faster machines with a mirrored floor that some machines cant handle so look out for that...plus the ones available didnt fit they were too small and the ones being made have been canceled by the person making them =[[

Ive added a random time to the red laser doors this means they can shut early, before they have all opened meaning some are open while others are closed, this is ok though it returns to normal after and i think adds to the WILL IT SHUT ON ME feeling LOL
Also theres no way ive found in Jk2 of making a door with a forcefield texture hurt you if you touch it, so that was dissapointing but who knows in the future, like George Lucas i will always be on the lookout to make this map look even better than it is.

ALSO IVE ADDED AN EXTRA SOLID DOOR BEFORE RED LASER DOORS THAT ISNT IN FILM THIS IS TO SPEED MAP UP AND INCREASE FRAMERATE


*****KNOWN BUGS*****
not major ones a few texture alignment trouble in the hanger , the textures line up perfectly in the map editor but seem to look different in game, i think this is because of the joins between brushes but it should not happen really so not sure whats happening there. As these textures are out of the way though its not really a problem. Also 1 texture on the fuel pipes makes a water sound due to bugs in radiant making all metal floor textures into water TSK TSK TSK
oh and yes the one texture on the computer console is out of line but after a 7 hour compile i wasnt going to fix something i thought id already done but i will for the Special edition with the mirrored floor

humming sound might not be constant by red doors to start with not sure why this is either but with more people it may be ok.

Slower machines might get some lag, i have a 1.4ghz machine at full graphics at 1024 resolution and it gets no slowdown
so if you experience slowdown change graphics till its smooth. Thats why this version has no shiny floor to make sure most people can play it.

No other bugs i can think of ........apart from the one crawling up me leg !!!!!!!!!!!

*****INSTALLATION*****
to install extract the pk3 from the zip file and place in your base subfolder inside Jedi knight 2 directory
then load map as an FFA or a duel all though map is a slight bit big for a duel HEHE

Also on loadup if you get an ERROR HUNKMEGS then do what it says
open console ( shift and ` key ) then type in what it tells you to on error message the number is the amount of memory you want JK2 to use, mine is set to 128 megs
You may have done this for other maps anyway

*****STORY*****

It has been 40 years since the battle of Naboo, The hanger formaly the site of the intense battle between Darth Maul and the Jedi Qui Gon Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi is now all but empty except that the cities power core is still functional.
After landing your ship you notice the hanger is empty of fighters and you begin to wonder if anyone else could be here...................Then you sense a disturbance in the force
