INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Place the guardshoto.pk3 in base folder of your Jedi Academy installation.
DESCRIPTION: Anyone here played The Force Unleashed? Anyone at all? Ah, a couple of you have, thats good. XD.
Well, this here saber was modelled after the Guard Shoto hilts used by Maris Brood. There are two versions in the pk3 file. One with the blade facing forwards and another with the blade facing back. This lets you mix and match whatever suits your style. These blades where designed to be used in a pair but they should work as a single. They have had some of their animations modified to better accomodate their odd nature but there are still some odd looking things. :P Those are detailed below. Also, I have included a script that lets you cycle between various setups of the two blades using the[ and ] keys. You can also use - to return the blades to the twin reverse-grip configuration at any time. Just bare in mind that this script uses the /saber command so it will only work with japlus.
KNOWN ISSUES: ->Due to the way these sabers operate, custom animations have been used for drawing and standing with them ignited. They do look a bit funny when walking whilst they're turned off but this issue cannot be resolved without an entirely new set of animations.
->The saber script will only work with japlus or any mod that uses the /saber command. This is not an issue I can fix as I do not control the commands placed into mods.
