FILESIZE: 265 kb
DATE RELEASED: 10 December 2006
CREDITS: No materials were used that were created by other people, but I would like to give a HUGE thanks to Virtue's lightsaber tutorial. Also, the programs I used to create it were Gmax, ModView, The GIMP 2.2, and Texture Maker.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Place the .pk3 file in your GameData/base folder, which is located wherever you installed Jedi Academy (No, don't tell me. If it's not C:/Program Files, then I probably don't want to know.)
DESCRIPTION: This is a lightsaber, made for the November - December 2006 Hilt Contest. As a quick point of mention, the name is based off the word Thanatos, which means death in some obscure language (go look it up, it's probably Latin or something... ha.). It's intended to be a dark side hilt, which I think is fairly obvious. Sort of a bionic design, less mechanical. I also had to remodel it a few times because it kept surpassing the 1000 vertex limit. Fun stuff.
BUGS: No, there aren't any bugs in this hilt. If there were, they'd be fried pretty quick.
COMMENTS: There's not much else to say that hasn't already been said. I've tested this, so it *should* work, and if it doesn't, then something really funny's going on. On that note, I'd like to send out a thanks to all the friends and family who-- LOOK BEHIND YOU, A THREE-HEADED MONKEY!!!
