Installation
-Download map
-Extract to your /gamedata/base directory in your JKA folder
GRTRknockout - FYI
To open cage from inside walk up to the button coming out of
the side of the console and press the use button. Stop just
short of the cables or else you will bounce off them. The map
is much more realistic with a subwoofer=P.
Giving Thanks:
I would like to thank The JKA mapping forums for all the help
and input. Without them I would still be figuring out how to
enter the game =). I would like to thank both Rich Diesel, and
Babba for their extensive mapping tutorials. I would like to
thank other mappers for their work that have helped me come up
with ideas to start on. Thanks to those whoever produced the
songs and sounds used in this map.
Issues:
No issues have been found with this map. Blocknpc brushes have
been used to confine bots to normal areas and to cause them to
appear more "intelligent." I have yet to have any issues with
this however anything is possible. Also there are delays set on
the buttons in order to keep sounds from overlapping. If a
button doesnt work, wait a few seconds and try again.
why...Why...WHY!!!!!!
This map was created in light of the new Melee mods coming out.
This map is a small one-room arena based on a boxing/wrestling
ring. This map should work in FFA, duels, and Team FFA. I created
this map in order to take a break from a larger project: The
Estate of the Jedi Elite order. This map will eventually be a
room in the Estate map, however I wanted to get some examples
of my work out into the public, so I released this room early.
Please look out for the Estate of the Jedi Elite order - est.
