CREDITS: I would like to give credits to Jeremy Soule for the background music used in the map as well as the various free texture gallerys that I came across that supplied some of the custom textures.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Open 'My Computer' and open your C:/ drive. From there, open your program files folder and navigate to 'Lucasarts'. Continue through the folder structure until you find 'Base'. Place the pk3 in the 'Base' folder. To load the map once in game, open up the console by tapping SHIFT and ` together. From there type: "/devmap yavin_retreat_v2" Alternatively you can navigate through the menu to Play > Solo Game > Yavin Retreat.
DESCRIPTION: This file is a map that is mostly built with a theme resembling Yavin IV. The map is fairly small and consists of four connected areas for people to duel. The first of these rooms contains a series of pillars that can be raised or lowered at the players discretion by using the Force powers Push and Pull. The second room is fairly empty and is a hybrid of a typical dojo and Bespin, due to the textures put in place to make it, this room is also the center of the map and contains the HP and shields. The third room contains a raised platform to duel on with a gap in the center. The last of the areas is set outside, by a bridge, stream and waterfall. There is also a small place appropriate for those not duelling to sit about.
BUGS: To my knowledge there are no bugs. But I would appreciate it if anyone came across any, they could let me know.
PERMISSIONS: If you really want to take this map apart for anything I can't and wouldn't try to stop you. I'd be quite flattered if someone wanted to take my work to use. I would appreciate a reference in the credits though please if you do.
