ABOUT QUADMOTE:
This is a utility for the JK2 mods "JediMod", "JediPlus", "OmniMod", (Vulcanus) "AdminMod" and "(Jedi) Academy Mod".
It selects emotes (i.e. waving and spinning) with the use of four keys.

Although I downloaded "Lord Darkblade"s "Jedi Mod 1.2 Taunt Selector" I never got it to work, since I was pretty new to the game back then, and I have another keyboard layout.
Much later I downloaded "[-JAWz-]'MaxZeuS"s version of it, "Emote Selector Plus v2.5 for Jedi Mod / Adminmod n JediPlus", commonly known as "emoteplus".
Now that I've used it for some time, I've made an - in my opinion - better version, and I added the new Jedi Academy Mod.

HOW TO INSTALL:
About .cfg files - you will not see the .cfg part in the name normally. This was done for identification. Note - a .txt file is NOT a .cfg file.

Basic installation:
1) First thing to do is to look in your C:\...\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\base folder (commonly called just "the base folder", which is what I will use).
2) If there is no file called "autoexec.cfg": Copy my "autoexec.cfg" into your base folder.
3) If there is a file called "autoexec.cfg" : Copy the contents of my "autoexec.cfg" into your own "autoexec.cfg".
4) Copy my file "keybind.cfg" into your base folder. Copy my file "quadmote.cfg" into your base folder.

Bind the keys:
5) I use , (comma) for selecting the previous emote. You can change this in the "keybind.cfg" file".
I use . (period) for selecting the next emote. You can change this in the "keybind.cfg" file".
I use - (impressive - most impressive) for doing the selected emote. You can change this in the "keybind.cfg" file".
I use ' (it's a good day) for selecting the mod. You can change this in the "keybind.cfg" file".

6) In the game, bring down the console and write "/exec keybind.cfg" (without the " "). This will bind the four keys. Note that when you change mod, you also change binds too. Just write "/exec keybind.cfg" in the console again.

Note that you do not need the "Source" folder at all. This was included only if someone else were to take it to an even higher level (how dare you!).

HOW TO USE:
Once installed properly (see above), you can use the keys in "keybind.cfg" to select which mod to use, and then select emotes, and finally execute (do) them. With my default, it is with the keys [,] [.] [-] and ['].

FAQ:
OK, it's not Frequently Asked Questions yet, but they might be soon...

Q: Why did you call it QuadMote?
A: Quad - 4. Mote - emote. Emotes for four mods. Just a silly name.

Q: Why didn't you include non-emote commands?
A: These are commands that will rarely be used much, and mostly by the host anyway. Also, many of them are variables, which is pretty much impossible to "program" like this.

Q: Where is my favourite command?
A: If you just can't find it, it's not included.
Q: Why is that?
A: I didn't include rarely used non-emotes. You would probably be better off binding a key to it anyway. (This really goes for Jetpack!)

Q: What's this JediPlus / OmniMod thing?
A: The two mods use the same emotes.

Q: I've added your files and bound as described, but now nothing except standard stuff works!
A: This is some error I've had too in another way. I've got no idea how to fix it. Sorry.
A: I've also experienced JK2 lockups when I have too many config files. As a standard user, don't worry about this. If anyone can explain me the bug, email me.

BUGS/NOTES:
-JediMod/JediPlus has only been tested on a local server. The "unknown cmd" may not appear ingame for you.

-JediMod/JediPlus: Rising from sit with a sit will enable movement, but disable animation. Rising from sit with two quick sits will disable movement, but enable animation.

-For advanced users: Yes, there's a hole in JediPlus part. This was due to dest accidentally appearing twice. (You will never notice this as a common user, as it I fixed it)

JediMod notes:
"punch" generates "unknown cmd". (untested with mod_boxing)
"sleep" generates "unknown cmd".

JediPlus notes:
"punch" generates "unknown cmd". (untested with mod_boxing)
"sleep" generates "unknown cmd".
"wake" generates "unknown cmd".
"stand" generates "unknown cmd", even though it works.

...and oh yeah - read the manual, it's worth it...
