Map description : Jedi Outcast - SP Map

You have been captured by shadowtroopers while investigating a huge power surge at the ruins of an ancient sith temple. Your saber and force powers stripped, you have been placed on the end of a skiff and are to be executed shortly. Jedi and rebel forces have come to your rescue and to destroy desann and the sith before they can revive their undead into new reborn. But the would be rescuers have been pinned down by two at-st�s and are using the newly acquired slave1 as cover.

Objectives: rescue the rebels, find your lightsaber, find and defeat desann.


There is more than one stratagy to this game. The more jedi/rebels you save the better.

Hint: you can use the tail gun on the slave1, and threes a drivable atst somewhere�

Known Bugs : <ELEVATORS SCREW UP SOMETIMES WHEN REBORN TRY TO JUMP UP ON.

Desann also gets stuck in elevators, so if your game ends before desann was killed you will need to re-start your game from the beginning, sorry.

This was my first 3-d map, first jo map etc. It was released a long time ago and it was created in jkradient and had many technical issues. I had to practically copy and paste the whole map piece by piece to gtkradient to get it to run properly. I intentionally left it as close to the original as possible only cleaning up some scripting to improve framrates. I am re-releasing this now because I spent a lot of time on this a long, long time ago in a galaxy far. Far away. Anyway I hope you guys like it

Additional gameplay notes

Like all my maps I strongly recommend playing them with dismemberment on

In game bring up the console and type �helpusobi 1�

Then type �g_saberRealisticCombat 3�

Turn sound/video quality down if your comp is old and rusty.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
***************************

1) Unzip sith2.zip

2) Copy the entire FOLDER "sith2" into your "gamedata" directory
(example: C:Program FilesLucas ArtsStar Wars JK II Jedi OutcastGameData)

3) IMPORTANT: Your directory structure should now look like this:
C:Program FilesLucas ArtsStar Wars JK II Jedi OutcastGameDatasith2

("sith2" being the folder containing the PK3, autoexec and gamestart files)

3) Launch "Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast" (Single Player)

4) Click on "Setup" --> Mods"

5) Select sith2 and click "load mod"

6) The "sith" main menu will appear. Click "New" to begin
