Map Name : A Plot is Brewing in the Outer Rim (formally, Ice Station Wampa)
Author : Jeff Zak

Don't hesitate to e-mail me with any comments, problems, or questions you have!!
Map description: A single player mission set. No saber, no force, no Jedi, limited weapons/power ups, and limited ammo. This is designed for first person only and there is no music.
STORY: You are a Rebel agent sent to investigate possible Pirate activity. You'll have to figure the rest out on your own.
Gameplay Tips: The map(s) are fairly linear.
It follows a set path and its fairly obvious on how to move forward.
If it looks like the player is supposed to go there, then go.
Take some time to explore around the world.
Make sure you turn on SUBTITLES. The final cutscene ONLY has ubtitles due to the vocal effect.
Other info: This project plays well with the Ultimate Weapons Mod with the Low Quality effects.
Hapslash's Imperial Officers and Stormtrooper skins should also be downloaded.
You do not need them but it just makes the maps a bit more interesting.
Known Bugs: Some of the pipe textures I used were not seamless but I liked them nonetheless.
Easter Eggs: There are 6 Mad Magazines with one being in each map. See if you can find them all.
There are no secrets. There are no hidden messages. However, some screens have the
Aurel Besh (star Wars font). You can take screenshots of them and decode them if you
want to. There is no correlation between the text and the story/game. You won't be
Everything else is supposed to be there as designed.

Then, place the apibitor.pk3 inside your base folder. JediOutcast/Gamedata/base
If you downloaded the Ultimate Weapons mod and/or Hapslash's trooper/officer skins,

*They couldn't have made something this cool anyhow, lol.
You have my permission to host this map on your website, or any mapping site that is devoted
to mapping that allows for Jedi Outcast maps to be housed as long as all its contents are intact
and modified in NO WAY! I DO NOT need you to ask me if its ok..
You can also distribute this project through Google Drive, Drop Box, ect..personally
as long as all its contents are intact and modified in NO WAY! I DO NOT need you to ask me if its ok.
Modifications to my maps..
Yes, you can modify my original map files. However, below are the rules to follow.
___________
JediAcademy Conversion
___________
If you want to convert this project to be compatible w/ Jedi Academy then contact me. I have zero
interest in this myself. I would like this done.
------------
SinglePlayer
____________
You are allowed to use areas of my maps for your own projects as long as they are set within my world.
If you want to make a whole new adventure behind one of my locked doors, knock yourself out!
I have many areas that can be explored further! However, you must follow these rules.
1) My story arc and world will remain intact.
2) ALL architecture I designed will remain intact. This includes textures. NPC's and items like ammo/shields, ect,
can change.
Example: So, lets say that you are making a map with Rebel soldiers that are 1 hour behind the player.
You can use parts of my level to get where you need to be. You can put dead stormtroopers on the ground and
so on. You can lock doors that were originally unlocked. Make elevators not work. You can't
re-design a room or hallway. You can make whatever you like behind a locked door. See how that works.
In simple terms... If I made it, its exists. Behind locked doors is up to you.
3) I would also ask if you map for Jedi Academy, please make or get someone to make a Jedi Outcast version
and vice versa. This isn't required but I think it would be nice to have both versions exist.
If you have any questions, please e-mail me and I'll answer any question you have.
-----------
Multiplayer
___________
My project will make wonderful multiplayer maps, some neat dueling areas, and so on. I have no interest
in doing this. So, if you would like to make any map multiplayer, you are free to do so.
I would prefer that rooms/areas remain in-tact. However, you can attach one room from map 2 with one from
map 6 if you want to. That's up to you. However, please respect the original architecture as best you can.
If you need clarification, or have a super idea that needs changed architecture and want to move ahead with
it, then e-mail me first. I'm pretty open and easy going I just don't want my work butchered.
If you have any questions, please e-mail me and I'll answer any question you have.
