Description : This is a map designed for epic saber battles with 3 distinct
duel spots and takes place in one of the many exhaust shafts in Cloud City,
Bespin. The main arena is where you start. The indoor arena to counter
push-monkeys is just below in the hole. The third arena is high above on a
trademarked, zero-safety-regulation bridge. The map is equally fun with or
without force powers. All of the duel areas are reachable even with LvL 1
force jump (the elevators help). There are other Sith friendly spots (dark,
really dark) on the map that are only reachable with Force Jump LvL 2 and
up. I prefer saber-only battles on this map, but I have added guns for all
those members of the Galactic NRA (Don't like guns? Turn it off. Like 'em?
Turn them on ;-). Also, it uses the music from the final lvl in JK2 (A.K.A.
The final battle music in Star Wars EP6 RotJ with the Emperor, Luke, and
Darth Vader. The best duel muzak IMHO). Battle on, Jedi! UPDATE: I've added
bot support, but I've made the waypoint file so they can only fight in the
main area. If I make them go to the upper levels, they will frequently fall
and die. If I make them go into the hole, they get stuck. This map is best
played with people in multiplayer.
Comments : KNOWN BUGS: Water sound on some brushes (Esp. when you wall-walk
on the shaft wall). E-mail me if you know how to fix this problem.
Additional Information: Intructions : Just put the duel_bespin-void.pk3 in
GameDatabase in your game directory, and it is selectable among the usual
Multiplayer maps. If you have the old Bespin Void (w/o bot support), MAKE
SURE YOU DELETE IT and replace it with this one (1.1 with bot support).
