DATE RELEASED: December 31st, 2009 (Happy New Year's eve!)
DISCRIPTION: Well, the jedi trainer model, personally, pissed me off and it's all because of the ridiculous bun on his head. I took matters into my own hands,
and viola! This skin/ overwrite is born. I've taken the prisoner model, more specifically elder_2 model, and messed around with his hair, making it the same, or
around the same, shade of brown as the trainer model (it also makes the prisoner look much younger than his original self ;) ). Included are team skins and
npc support. I am aware there was another reskin which made kyle look like the trainer, but that didn't have team skins, or npc support. I'/ve replaced the sounds.cfg
of the prisoner with the jedi sounds.cfg. I have also included a re-skin AND an overwrite file, for those that want to get rid of the trainer completely (like me!)
By the way, this does have npc support and team skins. The code for NPC spawning is...
/npc spawn trainer_new
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: Simply decide if you want to overwrite the original trainer or not, and open the .zip. Here's where it can get tricky for newbies ;)
For the overwrite version:
1.open "new_jedi_trainer.zip"
2.in the .zip file, go into the "trainer overwrite" folder <---------------- (again, this is for the overwrite)
3.in there, you'll find the file you will put into your base folder (C:Program FilesLucasArtsStar Wars Jedi Knight Jedi AcademyGameDatabase)
For the re-skin:
1.open "new_jedi_trainer.zip"
2.in the .zip file, go into the "trainer skin (not overwrited)" folder <---------------- (again, this is for the re-skin)
3.in there, you'll find the file you will put into your base folder (C:Program FilesLucasArtsStar Wars Jedi Knight Jedi AcademyGameDatabase)
COMMENTS: I just hope you enjoy this... It was a pain to make sometimes, mostly cause I'm relativaly new to skinning, but in the end, it was awesome, and
I enjoyed making it.
