CREDITS: I would like to thank the FANTASTIC CloneWars mod crew for providing me years of enjoyment of modding. Though it didn't work out, I had a blast, and that's what counts.
SUFF: Here we go. A while ago, a mod called CloneWars popped up. It had a fantastic idea, create JA as a sort of BF2/CSS/DOD awesome game. For years we went away at it (mercilessly mocking MBII while doing it.) It started to slow down, and one day it just stopped.
Nothing happened. We all just grew up. We went to college, went back to our jobs. We no longer had time for childish Star Wars videogames on the computer machine. Today I pronounced it dead.
It was a fun ride. I met some fantastic friends and produced some of my best mod work while with them. I no longer play JA, but as my dying breath to the community which got me into video games in the first place many years ago, I am releasing a lot (75%-ish) of what I created with them.
Let's talk my identy now. Third is a fake name I've been using for submitting files forever. My real online name is Bluestormtrooper. I am a visual effects artist and filmmaker with a passion for storytelling and creating things. That's why I love modding and games so much.
THE FILE ITSELF:Every sound here is remade from scratch, which means I took shoes outside with a microphone and bashed replica stormtrooper armor together to get this stuff. REMEMBER: The mod these were for was going to consist only of clones and droids, so it all sounds a bit "armory" on purpose.
New sounds:
Several new falling sounds
New hacking sound
New energy/health/shield pickup sounds
New spawn sound
New roll sound
TOTALLY redone footstep sounds. My pride of the pack.
New gun sounds for the pistol, conc gun, detpack, disruptor, fletchette, new force sounds, repeater, rocket, thermal.
New effects (these especially might not work, so may have to remove from the pk3):
Detpack
Fire
Thermal
BUGS: I no longer have JA installed, so I did not test these recently. They worked last time I tried these, however.
