Team Corellia: Part 2 - A Place in the Shade
Version: 1.10
Author : Simon "Kengo" Williams
Email Address : kengo10@lycos.com

Version Notes:

1.10 - Corrected a bug in version 1.0 whereby after watching the episode once, it would rain indoors and in space on all further views (unless you played around with the pk3). Thanks to Stryker and Jesterspaz's tutorial for sorting out my errors with the weatherzones in the previous version, as well as thanks to everyone who pointed out the problem.

A Place in the Shade

The team's first stop off on their mission is Ord Mantell, to look for one of Ackalas' collaborators in the hope that he can provide insight into where Ackalas has disappeared to. Ord Mantell is known as a large trading port, and a dangerous home to large criminal elements. It's a good place to go if you don't want to be found, but some people who go there just disappear completely, forever. It can prove a very hazardous destination for the ignorant, foolhardy or plain idiotic. Based on those parameters, the team may well be in serious trouble as soon as they set foot on the planet...

To launch:

This animated short is made up of scripted cutscenes created within Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, which was created by Raven and LucasArts. To view them, you will need to have the full retail version of Jedi Academy.

I like to have my projects load as mods, as it means they can be kept in the Gamedata folder and you don't need to remove them when you want to play something else. However, this does not work 100% for some reason. If you use the Base method, you will get subtitles, working level descriptions and working end credits. If you use the mod method, you don't have to worry about the pk3 file playing around with the JA game - as the Base method will change JA from the moment you load it up. If you use the Base method and want to play JA normally or with another mod, you must simply move it from the base folder, you don't have to delete it outright.

Base method:
1) Unzip TeamCorellia2.zip

2) Copy the teamcorellia2.pk3 to your Base folder.
(example: C:\Program Files\Lucas Arts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\Base)

3) Launch "Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy" (Single Player)

4) Click "New"

5) If asked for, select any difficulty, go to next, and the first cutscene will load

Mod method:
1) Unzip TeamCorellia2.zip

2) Copy the contents of the zip file to a folder in your "gamedata" directory, name the folder "Team Corellia 1"
(example: C:\Program Files\Lucas Arts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData)

3) Launch "Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy" (Single Player)

4) Click on "Setup" --> Mods"

5) Select Team Corellia 2 and click "load mod"

6) Click "New"

7) Select any difficulty, go to next, and the first cutscene will load
================================================================

To skip to the next scene, press 'Use' and wait for the next scene to load. If you press 'Use', leave it a while then press it again, you will fast forward through part of a scene (beware, this can cause problems).
