Long ago, in a time near forgotten, the Jedi Order numbered in the thousands. One man particularly respected and feared for his skills was a Jedi named Ieyasu. It was said none could equal him in combat with a lightsaber, and it was he who founded the tournament on Kai. Use of the force for attack is not allowed, lightsabers are set to a non lethal setting through careful manipulation of their crystals. Any man who can wield a saber, Jedi or not, can enter the tournament and try to prove their skills. This year, I have travelled to Kai to participate...

Character Selection:
Go the NEW in the menu to begin the level. You can either choose to keep the settings for your Jaden from Jedi Academy by going to START NOW. Or you can create a new character using the character selection system. Think carefully about the saber style you choose, you will face opponents of varying styles in the Tournament of Ieyasu.

To launch:
I like to have my projects load as mods, as it means they can be kept in the Gamedata folder and you don't need to remove them when you want to play something else. However, this does not work 100% for some reason. If you use the Base method, you will get objectives, working level descriptions and working end credits. If you use the mod method, you don't have to worry about the pk3 file playing around with the JA game - as the Base method will change JA from the moment you load it up. If you use the Base method and want to play JA normally or with another mod, you must simply move it from the base folder, you don't have to delete it outright.
Base method:
1) Unzip tournament_ieyasu.zip
2) Copy the tournament_ieyasu.pk3 to your Base folder.
(example: C:\Program Files\Lucas Arts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\Base)
3) Launch "Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy" (Single Player)
4) Click "New"
5) Select a character or go to "Start Now" if you wish to use your Jaden from JA
Mod method:
1) Unzip tournament_ieyasu.zip
2) Copy the contents of the zip file to a folder in your "gamedata" directory, name the folder "Tournament"
(example: C:\Program Files\Lucas Arts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData)
3) Launch "Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy" (Single Player)
4) Click on "Setup" --> Mods"
5) Select Tournament and click "load mod"
6) Click "New"
7) Select a character or go to "Start Now" if you wish to use your Jaden from JA
