JKA Loader - A Replacement for SWJK:JA's default loader
=======================================================
Program Name: JKA Loader
Author: Mahou
E-Mail: Mahou396@yahoo.co.uk
This is based of the built-in loader, except choosing between Single Player or Multiplayer only, it will show you files in a certain folder. This way, you can add shortcuts to different .BAT files that load mods to the list, saving making seperate shortcuts on ya desktop. ^_^ Not only that, but you can also group shortcuts into folders, for those of ya who have lots of mods. This comes with the shortcuts to Single Player and Multiplayer already so you can fire it up straight away. :P
Also, yeah, it is Windows only. Sorry 'bout that to people who use other systems, but I can't program in another system if I don't have it, can I? ^_^;
REQUIRES:
> Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy
> Microsoft Windows (Tested on XP, but should work on 98, 2000, or anything newer)
> Mod Shortcuts to be placed in C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\Shortcuts
INSTALLATION:
> Simply extract the files to C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\
> Make shortcut to desktop pointing to C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\jka-loader.exe
BUGS/IDEAS TO BE ADDED:
> The icon is currently low 16-colour (EEP!) quality. This will be fixed on next version, if I make one. (I have crap icon maker right now. o.0)
> The folder with shortcuts, unfortunately, must exist at the default location. Okay if you've installed JKA into the default location, but otherwise it may be messy.
> Problem with navigating - using backspace, you can go all the way back to the desktop! (Then again, could be useful if explorer.exe crashes. ^^;)
> Would be good to add sounds and button effects (when mouse hovers over, etc.) like the original loader
If you find any bugs (I don't think there's any others, but ya never know), please e-mail me, detailing what happens. Or, if you have any extra ideas, feel free to e-mail me those too. ^_^
By the way, I is quite new at programming (this is my first released), so please cut me some slack if something I've not done is easy to do. o.0 And, for the record, I used Borland Delphi 6 Personal Edition to make this. ^_^;
Anyway, hope this is fun to use for all of ya! ^_^
